Grantwriting has begun for this innovative new project! The "No More Sticks of Stones Initiative" is a co-operative group whereby wholesome and healthy food can be provided to member independent rescuers at low or no cost, to feed foster or stray animals in and around the city of Houston. Independent rescuers do not have the budgets or fundraising capacity of a large, non-profit rescue group. The local pet food bank can only provide donated food to 501C3 registered charities. Out of this dilemma, NMSS was born!
